Club Sadowsky!!!

I'm gonna' upload a few more later, but this is one of our demo tracks with our current female lead. All the tracks I'm about to upload are Sadowsky MV5 #4098 DRY. The signal chain is MV5-Radial JDI-Board. DONE. No EQ. About the only thing I did was drop the VTC a bit 'cause it had pretty fresh strings on it. Love the way this bass tracks.

Very nice and tight. Bass sounds great!

Very impressed! I want an autographed cd!

Vic, did you notice that your pictures are up on my wall? I guess I'm going to need autographs now. :) I posted a couple of office shots in that photobucket link.
Yep, I saw the goofy picture up there. Oh wait, all my pics are goofy... never mind. ;) :D

I'm still very much in love with my MV4. I will drop a set of SCs in it one day though. :)

Only thing that I struggle with a little bit is the smaller body - really only an issue when I slap, and I rarely do. :bassist:

Here's an iphone pic from Saturday's gig. That bass through the TC RH750 and RS210/RS212 stack is really something. :hyper:

Oh sorry. You got bumped! Rob sent me a pic - just updated that wall pic!

My Sadowsky wall of fame collection HERE.
Ohhhh... you're talking about the wall in the picture... I thought you were talking about the picture page. Yeah, I saw that. Cool! Thanks! :)

Track overload!! :)

All these tracks, #4098, passive Radial JDI passive DI, no EQ. Sadowsky Blue SS's. Fully blended, single-coils, VTC dropped about 25% or so. Done. :)

Shawn is our guitar player

Todd is our keyboard player

Emily is our previous female lead, she's now in Chicago with her own band, and I think doing well.

Harvey is our drummer

Vic,

Absolutely Amazing Tone and tight playing. # 4098 is a very special instrument. Its the bass that spoke to me when I played it. I went home and couldnt get it off my mind. That following monday I called Kevin and started my build and I am very satisfied with my decision. Thats my go to bass now. Back to Vic's recording : The vocals in Vic's band are superb, Not only does the Bass sound amazing but the Drums, Keys, Guitar and just the whole mix. WOW. ITB is a great Band.

These are just excellent, Vic. The bass, the playing, and the tone are all around great. Thanks for sharing!

Very tasty playing Vic. I assure you that you are annoying no one with your clips. ( you have actually made me want to check in more often because of them. ) I also like the dynamics that you and the guitar player have on the C#C#, BB, AA, BB part of the chorus. Dynamics should be one of the first things that a musician learns but I see so many that dont take advantge of the benefits of great dynamics. Very Nice.

Thanks, I very much appreciate that. Yeah, dynamics are really important to me, and NOTES HAVE ENDINGS (in other words, space)! I'd be embarrassed to tell you how many years I played before I really understood what it took to bring a bass line to life using dynamics and space. :rollno: Well, at least I'm working on it now. Better late than never. :)
