Nooooooooooooooo!
Dunlop.

I'm not down with Dunlop unless they're recessed like Fodera and my LeCompte under construction. They just stick out too far. As an engineer I hate cantilevers, and the length of the Dunlop creates too much of a moment arm.
HI
Cool, Munji. Nice to see you with something other than a Modern. Im hoping the time we spent at the GTG a couple years back helped you realize how cool the vintage J's are. Did you get the single coils or are they hum canceling pickups? Enjoy.
Rob
Thanks. The pickups are in the '70s position, so I can still get that bark I crave. The bass is a lot like my pink JO5, but the electronics are quite different. To be honest (just this once), I don't know if the pickups are humbuckers or not. They're regular-looking J pickups and they don't seem to hum when soloed. They're whatever comes in it. I bought it off the floor.
Both Metros I've had the pleasure of playing have been perfect. Great instruments presuming you are able to pick one in your weight range.
This one's a little heavier than my Modern 5-24s, but not oppressive at all. Roger says the quality of the Metros is equal to that of the NYCs. I haven't found anything about this bass to refute that.
