Club Sadowsky!!!

A Hercules club, yeah. That could be rockalicious.

Actually, I kind of think that TB needs another club like NY needs another hipster, but that *does* remind me: I'm looking to pare down my gig kit in a big way, and that includes swapping my current bass stand for something small enough to slide into the pocket on my Sadowsky portabag. I was thinking of that Hercules Mini. Anyone got experience with that one?

I have one that I bought for my son's bass. I have used it a few times but there is no support for the neck, which means that your bass can end up on the floor pretty easily if somebody knocks it.

I used to have one as well and that has been my experience too, unfortunately. I still use one at church on low traffic stages.

I had an Ultimate Mini at one point. I was using it soon after I received my first Sadowsky. I was setting up in my church stage. I put my base on there and turned my back to set up the rest of my rig. The next thing I know is I hear a thud and my bass is in the ground. Good thing the stage was carpeted and there was no damage to my bass. I borrowed a band mates stand and promptly threw the mini stand in the trash. My band mate came up to me later and said he was a little scared to talk to me because my face looked like pure rage. But I'll never again have a "mini"
