Club Sadowsky!!!

Thanks, Rob. Good to know. You're posts are like straight from the Sadowsky test kitchen. Much respect for your opinion. I think I've already decided that this is something I must do...if Kevin and Roger can make it happen.

Roadkill2039's comment about the "Strangers" section on your site made me take a look. Great pics! I really enjoyed that section.

Not sure if audio clips are allowed in this thread, sorry if I'm breaking any rules. I thought everyone would be interested in hearing my NYC with Big Singles. Its only a bar demo, with plenty of mistakes.

Got her home - my latest :)

Ultra Vintage | Cany Apple Orange | Full Size Solid Ash body | Brazilian Rosewood | MOP Blocks

Sounds amazing - tight focused punch of ash, and a warmer fingerstyle attack of Brazilian Rosewood... wow, what a bass!

Wow !!! Awesome bass. My Favorite color.... I found a 5 string 24 fret with the same color layout , on the Sadowsky site... and it is the home screen on my Mac. Someday ......

Thanks P Bass and danclaro. The pickups are in my 07 Vintage
Ash/Maple.

So:
I bought a set of Sadowsky flats thinking I'd try them on the MV5, but that bass just wasn't even close to being a fit for me.

Do I put them on the RV5JJ, or the MV5PJ?

I keep Sadowsky flats on my 5-24P/J. I get a lot of positive feedback on the sound of that bass in jazz/latin/folklorical stuff. And a killer rock sound when played with pick, although I don't do that. I'd vote P/J.
