I have a Metro Will Lee I bought from you (in person) back in 2010. The vtc and tone boost knobs are very loose. I find it very easy to accidently adjust them away from my liking on stage. Is there any way to change that short of ordering some new knobs?

Hey all. Had a blast yesterday in NYC at the shop. Picked up a great Will Lee and spent some time checking out everything in stock like I promised. The pj bluesy likes is killer! Great color, fat P neck and tone. The 5 strings with the soap bars in j positions were surprisingly punchy and full of tone I love the one I bought but a close second was a Will Lee in Dakota red w matching headstock. Alder/Brazilian board. Killer bass. Also a couple nice vintage J's. One in black, one that looked like mine w braz board, and an awesome teal vintage w pear blocks.

I think I played them all so message me if you'd like a report on a specific bass

Yeah, Thomastick Infeld (TI) Jazz Flats. They're a really high quality flat string. Some odd gauges, but the idea is the tension is really close to equal across them all. My fave strings for fretless, and the last time I tried them on a Fender-ish type bass, I was amazed at how good they sounded in a mix, they're super fun to slide around on, and they last forever.
