So.....loving the WL like crazy. The orange NYC may be for sale by next week depending how the gigs work out this week/weekend.
Just can't really afford to keep both right now. And hell, like Desantis said, the neck on thw WL is a freakin dream to play. I dont WANT to play the NYC!

So do you use the mid control at all, or is it really just about the neck profile and different body shape?

I ask because I almost used the mid control for kinda' opposite its original design intent, and eventually decided that, while I also really dug the feel of the WL, I went back to the mainstream Sadowsky stuff.

Is there a body shape difference beaides the cutaway opened up a bit more?
I didnt notice if there was to be honest.

And yeah, I used the stock mid setting on the bass almost all night long.
Came in real handy to cut through a wall of guitars.

The running joke with a few friends of mine is it really is pretty much "my" signature bass. It has everything I would put on a 4 string to be honest.

I had a short time with my WL. The neck is crazy good. I put HC pups in as I love them in my Standards. The mid boost worked for some songs. I just wished it could boost lower mids than 500Hz. 200Hz would be nice!

You know, I have found that I really don't use the Will Lee's feature's such as the mid-boost and detuner much at all. However, I too love the neck. That is why my NYC V4PJ has the same neck profile/nut width. It was an extra charge but well worth it. They can't put a Will Lee neck on a non Will Lee bass, but they can shave down the neck to give you the same 1.45" nut width.

Man, I use my d-tuner like crazy.
I'm swapping my HipShot Double Stop Lever off my PRS to my WL tonight as Im thinking that the WL is going to be moved to the #1 go-to bass spot.
