I just switched out the Aguilar pre in my Lull M5V for a Sadowsky pre. I used to like the bass, now I love it.

I just bought a Sadowsky pre (early xmas present) to put in my 1997 Fender Jazz Deluxe. I'm dying to see how it plays with the stock John Shur pickups.

So anyone know the nut width of the Will Lee 5 and the neck profile?
I noticed after swapping between my Metro HPJ and my Lakland DJ4 there was a noticeable difference in the neck profile between the two. The HPJ felt chunky by comparison, not that it's a bad thing, just different. So I put Sadowsky flats on the HPJ for more of a "P with flats" vibe (since I only use the P pup anyway) and really dig the feel and tone in a mix... makes me wonder what I'm going to do with the six packs of Blue Label steels sitting on my desk, lol.
I guess I'll use them on the DJ4... wish they were long enough to string them thru the body though.
I put Sadowsky HCs in my DJ4 and love the sensitivity and just plain POW factor of the pups. I don't have to dig in nearly as hard to get it to bark. I'll try them out for the first time tonight on stage, looking forward to it.

I'm pretty sure Roger told me it's the same as the narrow option on the NYC, which is 1.75.

I never seen or heard anything about the profile of the neck being different from anything else but I do know that differences exist. Whether deliberate or not, there is a marked difference in my 2004 NYC 24F5 and my previous 2008 Metro MV5 in neck thickness (Metro was "chunkier"). My current 2011 Metro MV5-PJ seems closer to the NYC but is still "chunkier" than the NYC. The NYC is very similar in thickness to a Lakland 55-02D that I owned previously and is the most comfortable for me out of the bunch that I've owned.

I'm "safe" GAS-wise on the WL models. Spent a lot of time messing around with the mid circuit on an NYC 4 banger and just ended up liking the stock sound without it better.
