Club Sadowsky!!!

Long overdue pic of the metro I got here on TB. My best TB purchase ever, I think.

It's been awhile since I posted, and I thought I would share this little story from my gig on wed. night (Thanksgiving Eve).

I have an very light metro Will Lee (seen here) [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

that is my regular "go to" for all my gigs. While wrapping it up at the end of the night, my guitar player was helping me load out.(A rarity, I can assure you.:D)
He hustles over to me carrying my Sadowsky case and says "Dude where's your bass?" and he holds out the case...now I know I put the bass in the case minutes before this. (Still, there was a moment of panic) I picked up the case, and just had to laugh...of course it was still there...he just never expected a bass to be as light as that..I had to unzip the case and show him it was indeed there.

Has this happened to anyone before? I know there has been a few times where I've grabbed my case for practice or a gig, where I have to stop and partially unzip it to make sure the bass is still inside.:D God I love my Sadowsky's

Yep, some of my friends were complaining about their Les Pauls weighing around 9lbs and I had a good laugh... with my Metro PJ right at 9.5lbs it sits comfortably. I told them to get Sadowsky straps to remedy the problem. Guitar players with their light guitars and tiny strings...

Looks like someone snatched up #6234 already!

Not with a Sadowsky, but I've received suspiciously light boxes from the Dingwall factory and thought "I hope they remembered to put the bass in here...". :D
