That still wouldn't get rid of the pop. It'd actually have to be more complicated than that.

Thing is, it's not really necessary. Batteries last for hundreds of hours, so while I definitely wouldn't leave a bass plugged in at home, I don't think it's necessary to unplug between sets, given a typical local gig set schedule (10-20m breaks).

Funny.... Just saw the bassist from Hedley playing a white Sadowsky at Toronto's big New Years Eve TV bash. First time I think he has ever played out with a non-Gibson since they were signed.

Hedley is kinda Canada's Blink 182 and big with the teenie bopper girls. Actually really popular. They are playing in front of 60,000 tonight, but they sell out 3500-5000 seat venues typically.

What's funny is that I have met Tommy (the bassist) a few times over the last 5 years or so as my kids are huge fans and I have repeatedly told him he HAS to try a Sadowsky. He told me he had such a sweet deal with Gibson thy he was doubtful if he would be playing anything else in public for a long time.

Not like I have Geddy Lee playing Sadowskys (working on it! ;)) but I thought it was funny as hell that one bassist (me, a weekend warrior) could talk a fairly popular one into playing a new brand (or I like to think so!).:bassist:

Congratz on the Promo.

But coming from a professional photographers standpoint - the images are a bit overly "cooked" and over processed in Photoshop. I would have the photographer dial it back a little bit.

I may have no clue what I'm talking about... dunno, you tell me - my Link Removed.

But if you like em' - hey, thats all that matters.

+1, she's gorgeous, MG.

I also love that it's a pure P-bass. For the record: I'm not dissin' PJ setups, they are fine, but I rarely used the J on the PJ basses I owned, so that's why I go with the cleaner, traditional P-only config. And a Sadowsky P sounds outrageously wonderful for slap, too.

+1 on P only config.

Anytime I play a PJ, I know I want at a minimum 85% P pickup… and I can’t stop messing with that other 15% J amount, constantly tweeking to dial it in just right when really, just 100% P is what I’m looking for.
Keeps life simple.
