They used to be there. Maybe Roger is working on a new version and they are not re-stocking the old ones. Just a guess on my part, no actual info.
Sadowsky, NS EUB, and Moog. Fair to say you have bottom end covered. Very nice.

I got my first Sadowsky this week. It's a used PJ5 (4288) that was built in 2005. I was told it was once owned by Tully Kennedy.
It was kind of a mess when I received it but after a good cleaning it looks much better. The body is in great shape but there is
some nice chips in the finish on the headstock. For an 8 year old bass that I think has been played a lot it has some nice mojo
but is still in pretty good shape.The strings that are on it now are completely dead so I'm putting new strings on tomorrow.
I have gigs on Friday and Sunday so hopefully it will work out and I will use it for many more gigs in the future. Here's a pic.

Argh, I went to install the Hipshot on my new Metro and the holes don't line up. 
I did have some wood filler laying around (from last time I had to put on some mismatched tuners or a pickguard) but it's dried up, will have to go get some more tomorrow.
I really love the bass though!

Argh, I went to install the Hipshot on my new Metro and the holes don't line up.
Lizzy, was that a Sadowsky Hipshot for the metros?
I never had any issues with previous installs on a Sadowsky if you use the ones the shop sells.

I compared it to the one on my other Metro I got from the NYC shop, which they installed before shipping to me, looks to be the same way.

So sorry Lizzy! Feel free to send it back and I will double check the replacement. We have them specially made to be exact replacements on the Metros. If you are going to have to drill new holes, you will be better off plugging the holes with small dowels rather than wood filler. I can send you those as well.
