Club Sadowsky!!!

Hello everybody,

I'm a little frenchy and I'm a proud owner of two wonderful Sadowsky's bass.

A- The first is a MV5 with Seymour Duncan Custom Shop 100% humcancelling pup's ((manufactured according to technical specifications of Roger).

The sound is amazing and she had a big growl in the bass (beetwen bass and low mid) when the UV60 growls in the mids (beetwen low mids and hight mids).

B- The seconde one is a wonderful NYC UV60. This bass is MY bass. I have never been so comfortable (as in old slippers) with a bass.

The sound is incredible. She's an agressive bass when play solo but play in group, she passes through the mix like no other. I did a test with the members of my group. I only played my Fender 1976 and my UV60 and everyone said that the fender had the best sound. Then we play a song together with the Fender and with de UV60. Everyone has chosen the UV60 rather than Fender !!!

PS : sorry for my bad english...

Killer photos - but just peeked at your website, and you are an excellent photographer - I've seen a lot of concert photos over the years, and yours are superb.

And while I don't like orange basses, I"m in love with your Sadowsky 4-string - what a beautiful fingerboard...

Yes, I am a believer now.

I am the owner of 3 Warwicks, and I have a chance to test run this funky beast in my local dealer:

4 days were all it took for me to make my decision.

Wife was so impressed by the lighting of the room, she suggested this shot:

The bass was weighed using my bathroom scale, and registered 8.81 lb at the point of purchase. This, together with the tone palette produced by the preamp, propelled me to make the quick acquisition.

However, a chance to weigh myself today let me realized that the scale has been running out of battery for quite some time. So I popped in some new lithium cell. Guess what??
This bass weighs only........... 8.6 lbs! What a surprise, and a worthy investment made at first sight!

Thank you so much, Roger, for bringing the Metro basses to the bass playing world. I'm in love again ;)
SO NICE !

Hey Gang,

Just wanted you give you all a heads up that I have my 1988 Sadowsky "SWR" for sale. Details in the classified section.

I would much rather sell it to a fellow TB'r than a stranger on eBay.

Period.
Mainly because I'm broke and can't buy it.
