I bought this baby in the summer. I love Cherry burst finish and always wanted a Sadowsky bass. And this MV5 is just the perfect combination.

Its tone takes my breath away in every practice. Sitting in the mix effortlessly without any knob tweaking! Have to thank Roger for making such a great bass!

Can I get a number?

Love that combo! :hyper:

Thx Timothy.

Now, needing some advice from all u natural finished owner out there -

What's goes best with natural other than black?

1. Tort guard

2. Blackpearl guard.

I'd have to say no thank you to a natural/blackpearl combo. It offends my sensibilities. :)

Not a huge fan of pearl guards in general, but I would say that I have seen them on black, white or some shade of silver/gray and thought they rocked it. Anything else is a no thank you.

Natural and common black works though. IMO of course.

But, in general I am a tort lover. I think it combines with the vintage tint for a very sexy, classic vibe. I kike mine as much as any of the Sadowskys I have had the pleasure to own.

Sure. #454 for you. Welcome to the club. :bassist:

Congrats! I'm the original owner. A fantastic bass, It would still be mine if double basses weren't so addictive and over all, so expensive!

Hey Fran,
That's great!
I figured someone here was the original owner.
I cut my teeth on a Fender fretless many moons ago and have been looking for a replacement for years!
Don't worry she's found a permanent home now and will be well cared for! :bassist:
All the best!

In w/ my first Sadowsky. Just got this from the guys at Bass San Diego. Been a Lakland guy for a while; figured this will complement my DJ-5 quite well.

Metro RV-5 LTD (ash body, rosewood fingerboard). **Double-checked w/ Roger if this would be an MV or RV based on the ash body- he went with RV due to the fingerboard.

That's actually pau ferro/morado, not rosewood. Just FYI if it matters to ya. You can't get rosewood on a metro as far as I know.
