I'm going to have to post some samples as I have been asked about this before.
I have to take a little credit for this configuration. When I first inquired about doing this Roger said he would build it but would not offer a trail period, normally 7 days, as no one had ever requested one like it before. Shortly thereafter, he built a couple, posted them on the In Stock page and they sold fairly quickly. Then Roger said he would honor the 7 day trial as he saw it was a marketable option. I'm paraphrasing here and these are not direct quotes but that the jist of it.
I'm thrilled to hear that Will Lee is using it on one of his basses.

The bass looks great! I'm considering one of the 5-24 models for myself in the near future.

I look forward to hearing some samples from the P/soapbar pickup configuration. I haven't had a lot of experience with soapbars in general (referring to the pickups, of course), so I'm not quite sure what to expect from that combination.

I have been playing a Roscoe LG-3005 for the last 15+ years, and I'd like to get another bass with more of a Jazz bass sound, hence my interest in Sadowsky. I know that Roger has a 7 day return policy on his basses, but I would prefer to know upfront before ordering that this is something that will be a keeper.
