Don't know if this is fool proof, but for myself I keep a set of pictures of my driver's license next to the instrument/amp's serial number, just in case.
Same here. I've recently learned from an experience a friend a work shared (home theft of his computers, guitars, guns, etc.) that pictures are as important as serial numbers.I keep a set of pictures in a folder on Dropbox with all my instruments, amps, effects and associated serial numbers just for cases like this.

A few weeks back some chatter was going on about anodized pick guards on a 59 Burst. Picked up a new camera today and to test it I thought I would throw this up.
I guess the Sadowsky Pre with Sadowsky Pickups works for my tone goals. Isn't that one of the reasons why a Sadowsky is a Sadowsky?
