In cases where the Dunlop screws are smaller than what came on the bass, I take the stock screws to a bench grinder, and cut down the heads til they fit in the dunlop button, rather than us "the wrong screw." Because yeah, using too small of a screw will definitely be a problem.

I normally refer to this bass as my Stealth Boutique, but the birdseye board stands out well in this pic!

Regards the strap lock, I had the shop built all my NYCs with recessed strap lock. Love how secure and the clean look. :bassist:
But one important thing is that you have to remember bring your strap. :D

I'm in - I get it now - the "what's the back line" question is now moot- my pedal board has now been replaced by my JDI direct box - I think I'm done-

Leaving that plastic on the pick guard as long as possible as I prefer the matte like finish

I did not know the answer to this because I haven't experienced any stickiness, but I was curious because it's something that I should probably know, and I discovered that -- as usual -- the answer is WD-40, "not a lot". It's in the FAQ: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Hi @Fuzzbass , I haven't experienced any issues with my Sadowsky or Fodera basses equipped with Straploks either. And actually, Bass San Diego changed out the default strap pins on my Sadowsky Metro RV4 to Straploks back when I purchased the bass there in March of 2012

The black one is still for sale =).... have to admit though, even though I'm stoked about the new one, the black one got an edge on the sound department. nothing drastic but for some reason it sounds a bit more organic. Maybe its the sunbeams? either way both are perfect in every ways!

If my warwick and fender sells first I may end up just keeping both and putting some humcancelling pickups in one
