does anyone have gut pictures on what the quick connector look like? are these available at the factory? i'm thinking of possibly wanting to experiment with pickups, a Nordy big blade to be exact, so i was thinking of possibly adding the quick connects while i'm at it, just in case i want to swap eim again.
WHERE is this on the site? I checked the price list and the preamp page... didn't see a pickup quick connect option. It's on their website pictures and price!

I may be wrong but maybe they are standard for the newer NYC? I had it installed on my metro
Me too. I'm thinking of Nordstrand NJ4 for my Metro. Or maybe Fralins that are overwound.Hey, just some blue-sky musing, here...
A while back I had MIM Fender Deluxe Jazz from the Suhr era. I let it go because it was a four-string (and I've switched to fives), the dead spot was nasty, and the ski jump was Olympic size. But I sure loved the tone. There was just _something_ about the attack of the notes, a really beautiful bell quality to it.
Been wondering since then--as much as I like the stock Sadowsky single coils--if there's another pup that takes it a bit in that direction. I'd be interested in any comments!
I have a WL Metro in the classified for sale which will save time and money.@Fuzzbass - I definitely considered going that route; however, two issues: (1) I've been thinking about a 4-string Sadowsky for quite some time, so waiting nine months for a custom build sounds dreadful at this point, and (2) I have two kids in college and a house to remodel, so I'm trying to be a somewhat responsible adult - my previously stated aversion to delayed gratification notwithstanding.
I think similar but slightly less tension on the nickels to me..
