does anyone have gut pictures on what the quick connector look like? are these available at the factory? i'm thinking of possibly wanting to experiment with pickups, a Nordy big blade to be exact, so i was thinking of possibly adding the quick connects while i'm at it, just in case i want to swap em again.
Okay... I did it. Pulled the trigger on a Metro Will Lee earlier this evening! And now, the wait... Will post pictures when it arrives.
WHERE is this on the site? I checked the price list and the preamp page... didn't see a pickup quick connect option.
I had it in my will Lee and it's like the same connectors as audere or j retros. Need a small screwdriver to tighten and loosen the screw and just take the pickup lead out

A while back I had MIM Fender Deluxe Jazz from the Suhr era. I let it go because it was a four-string (and I've switched to fives), the dead spot was nasty, and the ski jump was Olympic size. But I sure loved the tone. There was just _something_ about the attack of the notes, a really beautiful bell quality to it.
Been wondering since then--as much as I like the stock Sadowsky single coils--if there's another pup that takes it a bit in that direction. I'd be interested in any comments!

Anyone here using the Sadowsky Nickels? I just got another set of Stainless to replace the ones on my MV5. But I'm actually quite liking the stainless right now, 23 gigs in.
Just wondered, how does the tension of the nickels feel in comparison to the stainless? Going to give them a go I think, if they are a similar tension to the steels.

@Holdsg and @JonKim: I called the shop on Tuesday and took care of business. Feels great knowing that bill is taken care of. Also found out my bass is about two months away. This will be the best Christmas gift I ever bought myself lol.
I've never used the Stainless strings, but I've always found the Black Nickels to be slightly higher tension than the Blues.
Thanks for mentioning, but you're a few days too late... I pulled the trigger on one just a few days ago. It was originally scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Friday), but the UPS truck got delayed for some reason... Now I have to delay my gratification until Monday - UGH!
