Random thought: Why have I never seen a Sadowsky P with a figured top?
Just wait until my custom Sadowsky build is done!

Have a great weekend, Claudio!Hello bucephylus and FranDiaz,
For your experiences and suggestions with the game feeling that and is true the wide neck of a 5 string feel different, but the idea of a 4 string with a 1.75 neck I also like.
A nice day wishes you from switzerland claudio
now I wonder if I should order a 4 or 5 string, do you Thing 4 or 58 string influenced the sound, because the width of the? I do not need a 5 side.
I only play 5 string basses, but my advice is, if you don't need one don't get one.
The classifieds are full of guys selling 5ers because they thought they ought to try one, then finding they didn't feel comfortable or have a need for one. If you want to try a 5er get a cheap one and see what you think. If you like it then spend a lot more cash on a good one.
I think that's called a harpNot saying 11 sting basses are best.... but they are.
"I was gonna go away for the weekend but then I realized it was time for a string change".Not saying 11 sting basses are best.... but they are.

Possibly a bit much bling for the vintage vibe, ya think?I don't really like those darker block inlays
Wow! This is pretty hip.

No doubt. The NYC custom instruments are at another level (or three) cost-wise from your run of the mill player instrument.Regarding where your wallet is traditionally kept, it would have to be hip.

BTW, it's taken me 25 years and a 35th wedding anniversary to get me to the NYC that is in FedEx transit right now. So, that's where I'm at. Still, it's fun to look!
Thanks!Always fun to look! The excitement builds... can't wait to see it! More importantly, Happy 35th! That's awesome, especially these days.
Thanks!
But, there is actually some humor regarding the anniversary. That was last August, when we put the order in. I quipped in my initial post that the wait was similar to waiting for a grand child. In the meantime, my wife actually forgot this was the anniversary gift! We are actually close to 36, now!
9 is good!!I'm not sure I do only been married 9 years here..
Thanks!
