Club Sadowsky!!!

(Please don't show more pics of that purple bass of yours. My wife may see it and I'll be deep in dung to get one like it! Thanking you in advance!)

So...your wife sees the pic of the beautiful purple quilt top, and says you gotta get one. And the problem is..?

This request (no pix) _gotta_ be something like, "Please, whatever you do, Joeykun--don't throw me in that briar patch..."

So, I finally realized my situation with the missing PG screw! :meh:
The White Pearl PG that was on the bass obviously is from a NYC bass, since it only has three pre-drilled screw holes along the bottom and the Black MV5 I received was pre-drilled with four holes along the bottom, and my bass has the four holes in the body for the Black PC.
Sometimes you never know what you are going to get with used gear!!! :rollno:

They are nice and all but they are missing a string.... :roflmao:

drool drool drool

I'm with @Nightman - my lady loves purple and she would make me do double duty for something like that. Share that pic carefully... Lol.

HAHAHA! I tell my wife Sadowsky only make 4-string basses in Purple!!! I play only 5'ers. That's the only thing that saves me, so far!!!

Lurker turned into proud owner! My retirement present: NYC Satin Series 4-21 in Satin Sage Green Metallic. It's probably too good for someone of my ability, but a Sadowsky has been on my bucket list for quite some time. This was a pre-owned one purchased directly from the website, with the help of Peter on the phone. On one of my calls, Roger picked up - how cool is that? He really, really cares about getting things right. The bass actually cost less than a new Metro, and is in mint shape. It plays like a dream, looks fantastic, and immediately has me working harder to improve. The setup, intonation, attention to detail, and the sound are certainly at the top of the heap of basses I have ever played. Bonus: the satin finish doesn't show fingerprints! I can hardly wait to play it at a gig. It weighs just 7.78 lbs. and came with setup by Roger. Please excuse the single photo - we're on vacation, but I had the good sense to bring it with me. My incredible wife took this fine photo of me and "The Dragonfly". :}

That's a cool bass...and very light! Do you want a club number?
