Club Sadowsky!!!

You guys have excellent taste...that might be my favorite solid color.

Hey Mike, you feel like getting the manager's position back? :bassist:

Ya know, Id do it but I'm not on here as much as I'd like to be.
Let me think on it for a few. If I can squeeze more time on TB I'll do it again.

Debating on either a parchment pickguard or white pearl one.
Nice. Just depends on whether you want the Classic or the Bling.

In the bling category, I actually like this cat's guards.
Fender Jazz Bass Guitars

I had the brown crackle on a SG Jazz Bass a bit ago; and it was simply awesome under the big stage lights.

But, parchment is certainly Classic...decisions, decisions.

Whenever the "what color pick guard" question comes up, white pearl is always the answer.

Whelp, I beg to differ... ;)

I like the white pearl, too! To me it makes my bass look more dressed up, like for formal gigs or gigs with a lot of color lighting on stage.

Based on your pics I see this -

White Pearl = Wedding, corporate, churches, etc. Most likely playing top 40's, classics, smooth jazz, and so on.

Black = Dive bar, regular bar, roadhouse, outdoors and so forth. Most likely playing rock, reggae, funk, etc..

This is all non-scientific of course. ;)

It's amazing what a PG change will do to the "attitude" of an instrument. Since you have both, I'd say use them accordingly... Nice to have options!

You know, some folks will just wreck a conversation/situation just because they can!
I'm not referring to you Joeykun, with your two beautiful NYC basses, one of which I have to keep my wife from seeing!
I'm just talking about what I'm talking about. (Please don't show more pics of that purple bass of yours. My wife may see it and I'll be deep in dung to get one like it! Thanking you in advance!)

I don't have to worry about what color pick guard for mine!

They are nice and all but they are missing a string.... :roflmao:

drool drool drool

I'm with @Nightman - my lady loves purple and she would make me do double duty for something like that. Share that pic carefully... Lol.
