I guarantee no one will have a problem with our recessed jack, even with right angle plugs. I love right angle plugs and would not make any change that would compromise their use. I am now switching to a special Switchcraft jack that is a little longer than standard as well, to guarantee that no one will have a problem.
The Electrosocket is more expensive than the football jack plate we have used for the last 25 years. I find it more elegant looking and it does work really well.

at first, i was bummed when i saw it, thinking, "crap, my right angle jack is gonna hate that." but its been about 4-5 months, and have yet to run into a prob.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one seeing it like that. Either way, still a good design
