Club Sadowsky!!!

This beauty showed up today. What a great bass. It's a 1999 NYC with singles and an Ash body. The bass absolutely kills - I'm really digging it a lot!

I've got another coming on Friday with an Ash body and Rosewood board. If that one is half as good as this I'll be elated!

I had one EXACTLY like it that I bought new in 99.
Sold it like a moron, been dying to get it back.

I'll hit you with a PM also.

Well almost 8 months to the day.....I just got that long awaited email from Kevin. My NYC fretless is ready!! :hyper::hyper:

Now after waiting so long, do you think I really want it shipped to me 2 day service? Hell No!! Overnight that sucker to me.

So it will be in my hands on Friday....stay tuned! :D:D:D

woah, that flame looks like it'd be awesome.

but i think we should have a rule, "pictures must be at least *thiiiiis* big to drool over..." haha :D

Slight OT... and hello Kirk.

I've been using a Peterson Strobostomp of a number of years now... very nice. However:D, I haven't been as excited about a new product as this in a long time. Just as accurate as the Peterson virtual strobes, a fraction of the cost and size, and a true bypass (I STILL hear a bit of treble drop-off using the Peterson in-line... the Turbo is literally transparent in the signal chain). And... here it comes... the first tuner I've experienced that grabs an open B string literally immediately:hyper:

Just FYI for my Sadowsky buds... simply the best tuner, but a WIDE margin, from any others I've experienced. And the price is very good. They have an 'in-line' unit (the metal stompbox) that is just amazing. They also have a plastic tilt back unit for those who use a tuner out on their head. I don't like it as much, but it is also very good, and just as accurate.

Edit: To justify this OT post... did I mention that my trans orange MV5 is one of the nicest instruments I've ever played?!?!!!!

Kevin just sent me a photo of my new fretless! I actually spoke to Roger today and said this bass was very special! They are shipping it out today...so stay tuned for some more photos and comments!

Also I have to say, Roger, Kevin and the whole crew were such a pleasure to deal with. You can't ask for a nicer bunch of folks!
