VERY nice fretless!

I just saw the interview with Roger at NAMM with the Will Lee model.

GAS.

Has anyone tried the 1.45" nut width neck? Is it that different? Because I can't see anything feeling better than the neck on my NYC PJ. I'd be reluctant to mess with perfection. OTOH, .05" is a pretty small difference, I guess.

Pretty much everything else on the bass sounds like exactly what I'd want. I like the idea of a mid boost switch -- not too complicated or too many controls like a para mid, but quick and easily engaged, and the 500 or 800 Hz, wide or narrower Q switches would seem to allow enough customization of the mids without putting too many knobs on the bass.

Hey Bartman. Ive hung out a couple times at the shop with Rob L. as he was in different stages of assembly with 3 or 4 different WL models. The necks feels smokin' although I havent played an assembled bass as of yet. Similar feel to my 24/4 neck. I really like the whole idea of the bass. Its tough for me to slap on my 24/4. The WL model doesnt have that issue. Great basses!!

By the way, I have already booked my flights to NYC and I'll be visiting Sadowsky Guitars on February 2nd. I'm going to spend that day in Brooklyn. We'll take a walk across the bridge and head straight into Jay Street. We'd also like to eat same nice pizza. I know where to go for great basses and even better people but where should I go for the pizza? :)

I hope I'll have a chance to meet Roger, Kevin, Rob and the other guys, gal and dog at the shop. If any other TBers are goint to be there, please introduce yourselves to the dark haired, sideburned spanish speaking guy (that's me :cool:).

I am very excited :hyper:

As for pizza...I can recommend Grimaldi's (which is a few blocks from us....Small, sit down place...Lot's of History...Cash Only!)..or Front Street Pizza.

I had heard about Grimaldi's. great to know it's not far from you.

By the way, Do you know of any stores/outlets around? I'm coming with a girl and she might enjoy that better than sitting down for a couple of hours watching me drool on your basses ;)
