Here's my purple NYC

Roger posted on FB this morning that the LIC NY showroom (not the shop) is being shut down until further notice.
not surprising.

I was just coming here to post this info. I'll post Roger's note below. Like everyone, we're just being careful. I'm sure that lots of people are going to be home over the next time period woodshedding and playing a lot. If you've got any questions on your instruments or need setup info, don't hesitate to call. The online store is also open and we're still sending out strings and instruments and whatever accessories we still have in stock if you need anything.

Purple is such an underused/underappreciated guitar color. Thanks for sharing these links!

Joeykun's purple bass is the best looking bass I've ever seen. Purple is my favorite color. And yet I play BLUE Sadowskys. Hmmm....

if you lived in the 1500s when the Sumptuary Laws were in effect in England, and other similar rules in effect in other countries...and if you played a purple bass...you would be arrested and possibly hung. Not that kind of hung either...the bad kind. Which sort of indicates that Sadowsky instruments are reserved for royalty.

I too suffer from 'Random Historical Asides Syndrome'. I've cleared rooms and made females fall asleep on barstools, but I can't stop at this point.

Haha! Absolutely. The past does serve a useful purpose besides simply being a political badminton game in today’s world. I would truly hate to see another hung bass player. Interferes with my self confidence.
