That was only true before Warwick, and even then, only if you bought the Metroline from Roger's store. these days, the NYC shop ONLY does NYC customs. The MetroLines have my attention. I assume that once in the NYC shop they get a thorough inspection and set up.

I'm confused. Where do you see that the Metros are coming through the NYC shop? My understanding is that never happens anymore, at all. I welcome correction, however....I'm not sure that they inspect the Metros coming through the shop anymore, seems like they might be doing a bit more than just NYC basses.

Happy New Year, Roger!I have begun to sell Metroline Basses when I can get them from the US distributor. They are very back-ordered. Every bass I sell is personally inspected and set up by me, as always. We have some really sweet basses on our website right now.
Wishing all of my friends here a SAFE and HEALTHY New Year. I had two of my 5 shop mates out with covid in the last two weeks! Be careful out there!Happy New Year, Roger!
Have a great 2022!!
I love TI flats on my alder/Brazilian P5.I am thinking of trying TI flats on my Will Lee metroline to get a little less modern and a little more vintage vibe. Curious as to others' experiences with these strings on a Sad please.
I just noticed that all the newer German metrolines on the Sadowsky site have chambered bodies. Is chambering now standard on all metrolines? If so then it removes the most significant difference between metroline and NYC imo.
So after sifting through this forum I have come across people stating that earlier german models had some electronic issues. If I buy a german made sado model from 2021 do y'all think I will be in the clear? I ask because I'd be buying it from Japan and i live in California so if something is messed up i don't want to have to send it to Germany to get them to check it out.
And they're able to do it without having to rely on overly boosted mids, resulting in a boxy or nasal tone. There's just something about the spectrum of its sound that has an uncanny ability to be very present.
