Possibly closer to 1 pound; but that depends on the body wood. My NYC 4-24 comes in around 7 pounds, 12 oz. I might have expected closer to 9 pounds +/-, were it solid body.
As I said, a SWAG. I don’t have the data.
Lets take a shot at a guesstimate: Say a typical bass body made of swamp ash comes in at about 3000 g (freedom units: 6.61 lbs). If chambering removes 20% of the bodies volume and assuming a consistent wood density over the whole volume, that'd mean a reduction of 600 g or 1.3 lbs.
If the same chambering is done to a body that comes in at a very light 2000 g, you'd shave off about 400 g or 0.9 lbs.
For chambering with 30% volume that would come in at about 600 to 900 g weight reduction (1.3 lbs to 2.0 lbs) and for chambering with 40% volume you'd be at 800 g to 1200 g weight reduction (1.8 lbs to 2.7 lbs).
Obviously, if the initial weight of the body is higher, the weight reduction from chambering is higher in absolute numbers, but stays the same at a relative scale.
Between 3/4 to 1 pound reduction....depending on the body wood.
Varies, but as an example, I have two J alder-bodied 5s. One solid, one chambered. The solid weighs in at 9 lbs 3 oz. The chambered, 8 lbs 6 oz.

The blue Metro on the left is the best Sadowsky bass I have ever owned and played. Bought it brand new from Jim at Atlanta bass gallery back in 2007. I sold it last year and I am so glad I have it back!

While we have you, there is a bigger problem with the tuners in the German Metroline, which is not their weight. They are not smooth and they are inconsistent. They get stuck and feel like they are grinding. Several people on this forum are noticing the same. Can you please have a look at why this is happening?

My tried-and-true, NYC Will Lee 5 went under the knife this week and is now wearing a fresh set of soaps. Previously had the Sadowsky (Duncan) singles in it…which I actually liked a lot.
But, when I picked up a NYC 5-20 Ultra Vintage awhile back that had soaps, I was smitten (despite previously not really being enthused by the 60s position soaps based on videos I had watched). The soaps have a familiar j-bass tone because of location, but are just so fat and punchy.
I didn’t get along with wider neck of the 5-20 Ultra Vintage bass and ended up selling it. My Will Lee 5 is a keeper bass that’s got plenty of bumps and bruises, but feels like home. So, I had been going back and forth about having it routed for the soaps. Finally decided to just go for it and couldn’t be happier.

Well done, Marty. Just had a look and I see that the seller had changed it to metro express. I will be interested to hear what you think. The common "upgrade" on those seems to be to retrofit the standard sadowsky tone set up so that you get the vintage tone control, which imo is invaluable, but no doubt you have already done your homework. No doubt with your experience and skills you have already devised a way to do it yourself without purchasing a whole new loom. It is I think just a traditional fender capacitor to roll off the highs.

60s - or they were put right where the singles were, and those were standard 60s spacing.
Oooh, I like this! Pray tell what kind of music are you playing with this bass?
I use my Will Lee mainly for rock stuff and while is does it well I sometimes miss more "Oomph". Do the soaps deliver in this regard?
