Wow..that is an old article. Back in the days when they still let Roger and Mike Tobias write in Bass Player Magazine. Even though Roger did not write this one. I am sure you would not see that same article today :scowl:
Thanks, the bass is a MV5 with controls similar to the NYC. From what she told me the transparent blue was very difficult to get as the color was retired.
I had no idea she was getting this for me and the guys at The Bass Exchange helped her build it and really helped in getting the color.
For her I had a custom necklace made by my friend Matt Booth at Room101 Silver.

Guys, my husband and I went to a guitar repair shop in the area and we were standing there talking about getting some setup changes on our new Sadowsky strat-style.......when the intercom buzzed and the Shop owner asked who was there....and the person outside said "Les Claypool". I was in shock and thought to myself nooooooo, it can't be. Well, he came in and stood there right next to me. I froze.
I'm never in the presence of anybody famous. So it was quite the morning for me.
Did you say anything to him? Did you and he lock eyes at all?
