Did you order it in pink because I once wrote you're looking manly enough for sporting a pink bass? Looks awesome!
That turned out great- hope you’re as happy with it as I am mine!

Can any of you straplock experts assist? I have a NYC and Metroline Sadowsky and they have straplock pins installed but I can't find the button to put on a strap. Curious if you can ID what these are as they look the same to me. Additionally I think my Wilcock has the same, so I have a picture of that one as well. Are these basic dunlop straplock duals or which should I get?
Also I have some italia leather straps and I am not sure if I can get the buttons on them since they are so thick. What straps do you all suggest? I just want to get one and swap it around my instruments.

Interesting event recently with my 4 string Verdine MetroExpress. Was doing some three string triad chording study, playing along with a YouTube vid, and was gettin this incessant rattle on specific notes….C on fret 8, and then when chording an Fmin triad on the same fret. Was driving me crazy. As per my fret checking tool the frets were all level at the location where I was playing the notes, relief was fine, (but I added some additional just to rule that out). Turns out, as I had just switched to flats , the strings were rattling BEHIND the fingering, between the nut and my hand. Was crazy. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to bring the nut up 1mm or so, and boom. Gone. Clear as a bell.
I was thinkin I was gonna have to take it to a tech and get the frets leveled, or that something was rattling inside the neck. What a “relief”. “Nut” -tin to worry about anymore”……. (Sorry….was too easy)
