Club Sadowsky!!!

I've been playin' my metro RS5 for a few years now and just thought to join the club here... Guess that makes me #213? :bassist:

Seriously for me she's got that cute young girl thing going on and that's it, probably cause she's got the I look 14 thing going on.

In any case a lot of guys around here like to criticize her as somehow making her way because of her looks and I really dig her playing allot. I wasn't able to watch the entire show just yet but I think it's maybe the 3rd tune where she takes her first solo and for me it's so musical and sings and dare I say it better then the Beck guitar wanking in my opinion (not a huge fan). But what I really love is her groove especially in that raggae tune. Great stuff!

That she does. In fact, I saw a guy embarrass himself at NAMM with her because of that. Asked her how old she was, clearly expecting to hear something along these lines. DOH! :)

Yeah, true, but like you're kinda' saying, all it takes is auditioning some of her tracks and vids, and it's obvious she's genuinely earned it. Sure, the look of both beauty and particular youth certainly don't hurt her PR at all, but she's definitely got the right stuff, so in the end, it doesn't matter. :)

What the heck! I'm in for part 9. Here's a picture of the 'orange bomber' (NYC non-routed ash, and the wonderful Sadowsky single coils and broken in Sadowsky Blue Label steel roundwounds), followed by a couple of clips. The first clip through an aggressively voiced 115 cab, and the second through a 'studio monitor pure' 12/6.5 cab, both driven by the Markbass F500.

Nice clips Ken! Thank you for posting.

A lot of musicians know that gigs are gotten by being an easy to get along with person. And let's face I'm sure that good looks do make a difference. I do know a few local bassist that could play circles around Tal (of course I'm not in that category:rollno:), but there is more to it than just chops. And she does play a really wonderful bass!
