Well If you ever come to Ashland, let me know. I always enjoy watching someone try a new Sadowsky. It sounds like "Oh my god..... jesus......... I love this thing.....This is sick............. Ahhhh.......So... How much do you want for this bass again........Sorry its not for sale........ Come on, I can't live without it now.

I don't get down to the Ashland area too often.

I know what you mean about the first time somebody plays a Sadowsky. I got my first one back in 2001 and it is still with me. I've had bassists give me that look that they want my bass. I'm pretty certain that that bass is going to the grave with me.

I checked your band website. Do you folks ever have gigs in the Portland area?

FWIW, I am NOT taking my NYC PJ to the gig tonight. It's at a strip club. Some kind of anniversary or something.

It will be the first gig I've played without the PJ in at least a year.

Taking out the DSP are we ?

We haven't play Portland yet and looking forward to do so. Maybe you could send me a list of venue that would be good for a 10 piece funk band around Portland.
So far so good. We sold out every show we did starting from the first one.
I hope I'm not jinksing myself.

I can't wait to try this bass. I'm so curious about the mid boost switch.

I just realize that now since I have a new Sadowsky coming, I can sell my Geddy Lee.
Maybe I should keep the Sadowsky humcanceling pick ups I put in this bass and sell then individually.

I would pull the Sadowsky HC's, for sure. Unfortunately I don't think that it would add to the actual selling value of the GLee. Although it would make it that much more appealing to the buyer.

I've never had the opportunity to play a Sadowsky. I'm left handed so I don't get a chance to experiment with the different models out there. In fact, I 've never even seen or played a right handed Sadowsky.

I do have a left handed USA Lakland Joe Osborn with a rosewood neck and passive pickups. How would the Lakland compare to a Sadowsky in playability, etc.? I'd love to take the Sadowsky plunge based on all the good things people write, but I'm not sure of the differences between the two basses.
