Club Sadowsky!!!

The bass shipped with a tort guard. Personally...just not for me. Olympic white & rosewood board? Oh yes. But on this combo...I couldn't do it.

+1 on that... too much contrast for me, and it doesn't vibe with the perloid blocks and light colored neck. I too love Olympic white, RW, tort... classic. For your bass, I'd leave it as it is, although the perloid and black work very well also.

Enjoy that bass! It's a beauty!

That is really beautiful. Congratulations. I love the color combination.

Too bad it has five strings though. ;) :hiding:

Yup, Grosh ElektraJet. Love the creme color and P90s. My old bass player is hanging around town more these days so time to pick up some gigs on guitar with him. Would love to get a Sadowsky Walter Becker sig guitar but there's only so much money to go around at the moment...

More gratuitous photos. I normally am a sunburst guy and don't like solid color finishes. But this one just works...

Ken and I are on the same page in terms of aesthetics. :) Steve, on your bass I think the guard works because the finish is oly white. Tort & olympic white go together beautifully. Just for me, when I see that combo, I think alder body and a rosewood board.

The trans white is quickly growing on me. I'll take the $50 plunge on a white pearl guard when they're back in stock...

...but if it doesn't look quite right I'll be happy with the white one. The sound is what's really important anyway, and I can't seem to put this thing down today. :)
