Just showing the icky fretboard
![]()
A few gigs under those strings, eh?
Sadly, its not my gig its the past owners gigs. Though I wish I had that much gig to wear a fretboard.. lol

Back atcha. The J is nice, but I got a thang for P-basses and yours is awesome. Do I spy a series/parallel switch in there, or is that a trick of the light?
The mojo is there anyway
Great looking bass.![]()
My 7 guitar stand is full w/the addition of the M5-24, so I either need to start selling, or just start retiring a few to send to live with my parents.

You could just get another stand.

then you can get 6 more basses!
you're welcome: i'm here to help![]()
Just wanted to re-post Dragonbass' link from part 17, of last night's performance w/ Ricky Minor's Sadowsky bass for those who may have missed it. Thanks Robert.

Steer me in the right direction guys and gals....Gosh darn it Vic and your Ash favoritism!
I am torn between these for the future reverse PJ 5er:
Quilt Maple on Ash/Braz neck,
Quilt Maple on Alder/Braz neck
Alder/Braz neck
This bass will be specific to the blues stuff. I've been thinking of settling for a Fender P ($1200) or a Metro PJ ($2700) or order a custom NYC ($????).
Steer me in the right direction guys and gals....
Thanks for the replies and Yep - I know that is why I said "settle". I was thinking of settling for something along that basic Fender P line or settling for a Metro PJ.Well, you can't order up a Fender reverse P...
or a Metro reverse P/J....
