I love that video. Two things impress me:

1. The tone of that bass. Every time I watch it it makes me think I "need" a fretless modern.

2. His modesty. I love the part in the middle when he takes advantage of a quick break in the tune to adjust his skirt down. Classy. :)

That's really a great way to put it. These are killer basses, but they are pretty "polarizing" with people due to their fairly strong and specific personality.

Ken uses the Zoom Q3, I believe, and I think that does a great job! I have one too, but am thinking about replacing it with the HD model.

If you want to do direct to your PC recordings, I'm clueless about that. If you want to record 'live' like I do, as Vic said, that Zoom Q3 is pretty awesome. I believe a couple hundred bucks (it has been a while since I bought mine). You can buy a 'package' with a small little tripod or setting it on a table when recording and case, and a large memory chip. It comes with a UBS cable... you just push the button, point and record, and then upload the MP3 to your PC and then upload to Youtube.

VERY good sound quality (the internal mics are quite good), batteries last forever if you use those 'high tech' type lithium models (it really makes a difference). The only downside is you have to record in good light, and there is no pause button.

If you want to record direct, head on over to the recording part of the site, and you can get all kind of info on an interface to record directly to your hard drive.

So far so good. This is my first Sadowsky, and it is all I expected it to be. Plays like a dream and sounds just so good. :)

Actually, I think it was your post that made my mind up (didn't you start a thread about having gas for one of those trans black mv4s?). Thanks. :)
