I have. Doesn't seem any better or worse than anything else that's good quality, like Dunlop 02, Planet Waves Hydrate, etc.

LOL - I'm gonna have to get you to write my stuff if you got more of those lines amigo.
Thanks for the video Fran. It's been too long coming bro.
Very nice.:bassist:

;)

I know that there is a pro-shot video with soundboard audio from one of our gigs, but I've lost hope of ever seeing it, it's been more than six months since that gig and the video guy has not started working on it.

Using compressors involves a learning curve IMO. Lots of potential there. Have fun Fran.

Here's a pretty good read for Compressors 101. It's really a phenomenal tool once you get your head around it. Mine is just out of the starting block. LOL

http://www.benvesco.com/blog/mixing/2008/mix-recipe-bass/ -* Note the last 2 sentences of "reduction level" (under "compression"). Tone is within the "threshold" setting. If your compressor doesn't have a meter to gauge reduction level, I find that a threshold setting of approximately -22 will give a ballpark -6db. going much below -22 will "squash" your sound to a noticeable degree. I find 4:1 ratio works well for bass. I think the most challenging aspect of compression is controlling the resulting increase in sustain by improved damping technique. Once accomplished - You're HOME!
