Club Sandberg (part 2)

I just got an email from Sandberg and can give the correct information about the Preamps:

der Frequenzbereich ist: 20 Hz - 20 KHz (Range)
Bass Regler: +/- 15 dB @ 40 Hz (Lows)
Mid Regler: +/- 10 dB @ 550 Hz (Mids)
Treble Regler: +/- 18 dB @ 12 KH (Highs)

Best regards!

Whoa ! That treble setting looks utterly bonkers to me. Nothing above about 3K makes much difference to me, the only adjustment I'd want to make up there is to roll it all off.

Does this apply to every 3-band that goes into a Sandberg bass ?

Since I got my Dingwall ABII I haven't played my Sandberg much.
On Friday I took it to a 4hr band session.

Wow! Amazing.

I loved it. I am now thinking of getting a California Tt6 instead of the Dingwall Super P I was planning...

I have a Tt5 with a John East J-Retro Deluxe pre-amp.

Amazing bass!

Hello my fellow friends! I'm gonna be a sanberg vm4 owner soon but I have some question. I live in USA so the there aren't many options if I want to order one here, although I found one in the uk. They said the bass costed 1200 pounds including shipping. So I was just wondering, is that the final price or do I have to pay extra for getting it to the US, I mean taxes and stuff like that?

Yeah, mine has a ridiculous amount of treble too. Usually roll it off for 90% unless I'm doing some funky slapping.

You have to pay customs, I think that's around $75 or so. Check online for a customs estimato. Btw, where did you find it bass direct?

I would like to have a number please. Here is my Sandberg VS4 passive (tobacco sunburst). Hands down the best bass I've ever had. GAS is on for TT4 though...

They use a modified Glockenklang, I think, ( the regular one has treble @ 18k!)

I put a real Glockenklang pre in my older VM4 as I wanted the passive tone control. Regardless of the actual frequency it certainly made a difference that I liked. I suppose it depends on the Q of the treble circuit.

Anyway I've gone completely passive with that bass now and put a Tonestyler in it.
