@Hip Route Jon Welcome to the Sandberg Club! Your number is #142Hey everyone, just treated myself to this VM4 last week!
Did its first gig last weekend and I was blown away, couldn't be happier with it!
Can I join the club please?...

Me with my MarloweDK I purchased used several months back. Absolutely love this bass.
How is the Grand Dark?
I would like to install SD Quarter Pounders in my VT4. Can I use the pots & preamp from my Sandberg or do I need to change everything?
Thanks. I’ve soldered pickups before so should go smoothly. I will transform the VT4 into a QP P.Just change the pickups. You will just need to solder the wiring of the new ones to existing pre amp. I changed the humbuckers in my TM2.
Caution (Assuming this is the first time)
1. Take photos of the existing wiring and connections. That way you have a way back in case of disaster!
2. If you haven’t soldered before, practice!
3. Identify all wiring for old and new pups before proceeding.
If you are experienced. Easy job .
