It's here! The first St. Germaine Rhea shape is out in the wild. Geoff absolutely nailed this bass and I couldn't be happier.

Congratulations Bernie!! I always thought the Kenneth Lawrence Chamberbrase II and Foderas single cuts were the most eye pleasing. Geoff is now added to the list and much cheaper than a Fodera I'm guessing.

My Shrike is going to have a Master Grade Birdseye Board and pick up covers, I heard from Geoff this week that he is working on my Body Blank and neck.
Specs
General:Shrike Custom Series bass, 5-string, headless, set-neck construction
Dimensions:36" to 33" scale length (915 to 839 mm),
19 mm bridge spacing, 45 mm nut width. 20 mm
neckdepth at first fret, 21 mm neck depth at 15th fret,
flattened C carve profile.
Body:Northern Ash body with Flamed Maple top. Optional black veneer accent line (dye/colourdependent).
Neck:3-piece Hard Maple neck. Dual-action stainless steel truss rod with spoke wheel adjustment,carbon fibre neck reinforcement bars (4).Fingerboard:Hard Maple fretboard, 24 frets. Black veneer accent under fretboard. Hollow aluminum front andside markers (3 mm) with black centres. Compound radius (10-16"). Jescar stainless steelSS43080 fretwire.
Headstock:Flamed Maple (1.5 mm) front and back veneers with black veneer (1 mm) accent layer.Pewter logo.
Pickups/Electronics:2 x MJS dual coil pickups in Hard Maple shells, parallel wiring.
GV Custom x St. Germaine Custom 4-band EQ preamplifier with active volume, blend, bass,lo-mid, hi-mid and treble controls. Custom frequencies at 35 Hz (bass-shelving), 250 Hz(lo-mid), 1.2 kHz (hi-mid), 7.5 kHz (treble-shelving).
Hardware:Riviera RBBS bridges (5), black. Riviera RBBSH headpieces (5), black.
Hard Maple control knobs with hollow aluminum dot indicators with black centres.
Northern Ash electronics and battery compartment covers.
Scalloped brass nut.
Dunlop dual-design strap lock buttons, black.
