Club Trickfish!

The soapbar looks to be an MM style (3 screws). Will there be an EMG35 format as well? Are they noise-canceling?

Great stuff!

We have a soapbar-sized casing for 4 and 5 in the P2 and P4 size, nothing EMG size at this time. the Music Man is a standard MM size.

@J.Wolf what is the difference between this new Fodera/Trickfish pre and the Minnow?

Will this one be DI and have all the features?

Thanks!

Its based on the Fodera preamp, so its a little different from the Minnow, also it has all the mid switching options, which the Minnow doesnt have. And it will run on a 9V battery.

Day 2 “find” at the NAMM TF booth…VW!

Sadly, he didn’t play though…

EDIT/add: also, rear pic of the TF 1.5 (the Fodera boy’s photobombed my pic)…

hey guys, just coming up for air after slapfest 2026, I mean, NAMM 2026. (I always joke that the reason everyone plays slap bass at NAMM is that it's the only thing you can hear over the dull roar of a gazillion guitar and bass amps playing at once, but I digress).

The show was great, we had a fantastic response to the pickups, the new cabs and the 1.5K. Here are a couple of clips of people playing a Fodera standard with the hum-cancelling J pickups. Very open, responsive and punchy but still very nice complexity and texture in the mids and a deep bottom.

I saw that too!!

When all is settled post-NAMM @J.Wolf I'd/we'd love to hear if that will be an addition to the L cab lineup!

I think so. And I sure hope so, it sounded really great. We had it on top of a L112M, which it stacks perfectly on with a Mini500. That was one of peoples favorite setups at the booth. Tiny footprint, super portable, tall enough to get close to your ears on stage, and plenty of booty. Im a sucker for greaty sounding vertical 210.

That sounds fantastic! Looking forward to it being confirmed, and eyeing the L112M too after what I've been reading here!
