My set up absolutely kills! The SL-900 with the Uber 2x10 and 1x15 sound amazing in a live setting. I got the MS-pre to have that tube overdrive grind on tap that the ST-900 just can't deliever. It was snowing last night, so I could only fit the 1x15 in the cab of the truck. It was plenty loud with the SL-900 to compete with the guitarist 4x12. Granted, he was only turned up loud enough for unity with the drums, but I was proud of the 1x15 for holding it's own.

On topic, my MS-pre should ship this week :hyper: First gig of the new year is in February, so I hope it arrives in time.

I'm going to run the MS Pre tonight at a trio gig. Texas-blues-shred stuff so some room to stretch my sound. The rig = MS Pre ---> GB SL-900 ---> GB Uber 115. The other Uber 115 will arrive on Wednesday now. With the exception of Verellen, all of my gear comes from TalkBass Classified's these days. Why buy anywhere else?

Oh yeah, thats a killer combo. I just bought a Highway 1 Jazz that had EMG's in it. To be honest, they did sound better than the other active/pre-amp'd bass I have tried. But still way clicky with no oomph, if ya know what I mean. Nothing against active users. Im sure you all have your reasons. But I just dropped it off to have two DiMarzio Model J's put in. Since they are both wrapped like humbuckers, Im thinkin its gonna sound great through the MS pre and the OSD. My P certainly does.

Really? That's awesome! Yeah I'm in cstvt, thanks for the kind words. We've been going slow lately due to real people jobs and conflicting schedules. But hopefully we'll have our new record completed and out sometime later this year.
