O.K. I'm confused. Is it just me?

We had announcements posted all over for a few months and only 6 people ever responded.

Are all these soundguys volunteers, not getting paid? Can't figure this one out... Must be a church thing....

That's why some churches pay musicians/soundpeople.... to avoid stuff exactly this.

Played a club last night where the sound guy forgot to turn on the power amp for the mains for the first 2 songs. He was very stoned.

They always say the power amps are the last things you want to turn on. He must have thought that meant last thing you do at the end of the night...
