Coated-string review

I feel covered string less responsive than normal....Than I've decided to accept normal decaying of strings to have a better tone and attack.

14 months? That's 13 months longer than rounds normally last, what were you expecting?

I didn't have a lifespan in mind. I hadn't heard the drop in brightness until I played without any overdrive. The BB-1X on full overdrive makes even flatwounds sound lively. The XLs I fitted 8 weeks ago are now dulled without the BB-1X.

I've on board to my gig bass coated Red devil strings. I've them for long lasting I think I'll use until Easter....
