Cocobolo Nut?

Is cocobolo strong enough to use as a nut?

I've done it a few times...works fine. It clogs up my files more than other woods.

i've read it clogs up many tools. especially sandpaper.

i made a nut for my bass out of cocobolo it works fine and it looks great too i dont think you will have any problems with srength cocobolo is very hard
