You know I really dont like coffee so I dont drink it but Coffee Ice Cream is another story , this stuff is great I would say it is one of my favorite ice creams. Anyone else like it ?

Coffee Ice Cream

Seattle's Best makes an espresso milkshake that is oh so good. My wife makes a coffee milkshake that is great too.

l love coffee and coffee ice cream, but when I first tried the ice cream I bsimply thought it would taste like a chilled cuppa joe-man was I wrong, it's different, but good. Mmm...
I like my coffee black, Columbian and strong, but I hate the coffee ice cream. My wife loves it.
Of course I throw out my coffee if it gets cold, too. Gotta be hot. Ice coffee sucks too, or whatever that crap is they sell at Starbucks.

Not really a fan. Not really a fan of any coffee products from Starbucks. When I find a real good barista at a Starbucks, I'll have a flavored latte or mocha. SB will do when noting else is available. They do make some good iced tea, and their gingerbread syrup is good.
When I'm talking coffee milkshakes, I'm talking about vanilla ice cream, milk, and a couple shots of cooled espresso or drip coffee. The Frappuccino's from SB are quite different from that.

anyone in the colorado springs area should stop by josh & john's naturally homemade ice cream. i worked there right after college and made the ice cream (a mere stepping stone on this english lit. major's rocket ride to success, fame and fortune). to this day it's some of the best i've ever had. we made our own coffee extract for the coffee ice cream. a ton of fresh brewed coffe in each batch. plus, 16% butterfat and churned in big old rocksalt and ice machines that broke down every 5 minutes. I just put on 5 pounds from writing about it. nothing like it!

Even if you found a real good barista at a Starbuck's you wouldn't know it anymore. I went into one the other day looking for a better tamper for my espresso machine (that's a whole other story, too!) and apparently Starbuck's have switched over to superautomatic machines now. No barista required...just someone with an ability to push a button.

Those are showing up around here now. SB was testing a machine at one of their locations that let the customer do all of the work. They just put their money in, pushed some buttons for the drink, and then waited for it to roll out in about 60 seconds.
I know of a couple good baristas here in town that work at SB. My dad really digs SB, so when he asks me to go with him, I insist we go to one of the 74 on my town where I know a good barista works.
