Coffee

Usually a small cup with my girlfriend during breakfast, and another around 10AM at work.

It's good coffee, though. I don't drink much, so if I was to have a single cup of bad coffee a day, I'd just give it up instead.

sure there are days I need a cup, but I drink it because I love it. When I was younger, I drank it all day every day... today I try to skip it for 2 or 3 days every couple months just to prove I don't need it.

Oh I just meant that its too early for me to say that I would never need coffee to get my day started. But I figure I still have young energy, so I don't need it to wake up. I knew kids in high school who would drink a big can of Rockstar in the morning. I was convinced they were going to have a heart attack.

But I understand drinking it because you like how it tastes. That's generally why I drink it as well.

Bingo. I like how it tastes so I drink decaf all day. I have no idea how many cups that adds up to, I have a large insulated travel mug. I actually don't like the effects of caffeine and never drink soda or 'energy' drinks'. Living in Seattle I always get strange looks when I ask for decaf.

I drink one 24 oz cup of black coffee every Monday morning, and then maybe 1-3 cups a month on top of that.

I used to drink much, much more coffee than that plus I would drink 2 or 3 24-oz cans of Diet Rockstar daily, but cut out the Rockstar and scaled back the coffee about a year ago when I started having major sleep problems.

man, do i love coffee!

i have 2 cups (16oz total) a day in the morning, after breakfast. sometimes, i'll have Turkish coffee in the afternoon.

coffee is special to me. i buy the beans unroasted, then roast them in my garage, then grind them by hand just before brewing. i put the coffee in a glass carafe, then pour in 16oz of near boilling (ca. 200 degrees F) water, then let it steep for 5 minutes. then i pour it through a cloth filter into another glass carafe and enjoy. i love every coffee i've tried, but my favorites so far come from Ethiopia.
