Hi everyone -

I am hoping to get some guidance on a pickup wiring scheme I have not tried yet.

My new bass will be getting a pair of Nordy BigRigs. I am planning to wire each pickup to series/parallel/single toggle switches (one on/on/on switch per pickup). I've done this on a number of basses and the versatility can't be beat.

In addition to the series/parallel/single switching option, I'd like to also be able to select WHICH of the two coils is being used when the pickup is set to single coil mode. Unfortunately, I have not seen any schematics for this, and I'm not sure how it would be executed.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how this might be done.

Thanks!

Easiest would be with two switches - one on/on/on that was north/both/south. Second switch on/on series/parallel. The series/parallel switch would only work in "both" mode on the first switch and the first switch would only work in series mode on the second switch. You could keep your current on/on/on for the first function and use a push/pull pot for the second function.
