Cold weather gigs?

Simple.

Either require heaters, or put the price of running heaters in the fee for your band.

Get one of these for every member of the band. Then make sure one tank of fuel for each member is baked into the fee for the gig.

Done.

Don't play a gig cold. That sucks.

I've played in 20 degree weather and it sucks. You quickly get to the point where you can't move your fingers, so end up simplifying the heck out of the bass lines. The instrument keeps going sharp all night, maybe even a full half step, possibly more. But that was an atypical, extreme situation.
