College Fall 2008 Semester

So school has started for me, and I know a few other TB'ers. How's this semester going to treat you?

I changed major over the summer (from music to International Bu$ine$$) and we don't have online course changes, so on today, the first day of classes, I'm waiting in the library refreshing the courses with open seats page trying to throw a schedule together. Looks like most of my classes will be earlier in the day so I'll have a lotttt of free time in the afternoon.

It's my second year here, but I'm technically a junior because of AP & IB credits... Although I do plan on staying for the entire 4 years.

Also new this year, I have my own apartment a few blocks from campus. I'm all moved in and it looks like ikea had an explosion in my apartment. I get my couches delivered on Wednesday and it will finally start to feel more "homey."

Feel free to discuss your college experiences this year... It's always good to vent here, haha.

We don't start classes until sept 10th, but this semester is going to be a bitch. I'm doing a split program between graduate and undergraduate schools so I have two undergrad classes tuesday/friday most of the day and then 3 grad classes that will be monday through thursday nights. I organized my classes this way so I could continue working monday/wednesday/thursday 8-4.

I started classes today. I am majoring in Biological Science pre-dental at the University of Illinois in Chicago. I am technically a senior but waaaaay behind in credits, so ill probably be an undergrad for 6 years. Beats working though. I am signed up for Chemistry, Biology, Math, and .... Weight training. Lol, i needed the weight training class to bump me up to full time status. Meat heads here i come!

Im a psych major but thinking about switching to msuic. this semester Im taking prob and stats, public speaking, music appreciation, and an online western world lit course. it might be cancelled due to the face there are 2 other people besides me in it. all my classes are on mwf so I have tues and thurs off to do whatever

classes start for me on wednesday, and i start teaching (or "teaching") on thursday.

i get to take the infamous (well, more like "reviled") jackson-based electrodynamics course near the presence of the very man himself.

...i wonder if he can help out with the problems from his book. :D

that said, my posting rate is going to nose dive once i start getting homework for that course (and, of course, my quantum course... and teaching). :hmm: still, pretty exciting.

I started classes today. I switched majors & schools. I went from jazz studies at Roosevelt to Business Administration/Management at Ivy Tech Community College. I'm doing the program online, so that I can stay here in Chicago to gig and work.

Thus far-i like it. The classes are setup so that there's stuff due once or twice a week. Other than that, the assignments are posted & it's up to us to do them. I'm diggin it.

im in week 2 as of today. i got asked to play in the college brass ensemble today. bumping me to 13 credits this semester.

my schedule is as fallows:

lots of fun, lots of practicing, lots of new music, lots of math homework.

I'm starting first of my classes next week. There's already two student events in my calendar for the first week alone..

I decided to officially change my biochem minor into a major this year, so I have a mix of 1st-3rd year courses to take and am officially starting with the freshmen. Oh well, I can't complain really, since about 3/4's of the starting class is 18-19 year old females and there's a lot of parties to attend :ninja:
