I've heard a lot of good things about Berklee and Musician's Institute, and some colleges like Manhattan School of Music, New England Conservatory, and CalArts seem really cool (although they seem like they're REALLY hard to get into.) What else is there out there? What schools offer degrees in electric bass performance than have a lot to offer? I have to get a degree wherever I go, going to college just to learn isn't going to fly with my folks. Music is really the only thing I'm truly passionate about, although I might also consider a degree in teaching music.

I don't believe the Player's School is accredited, same thing with the New School and some other places, iirc.
