EA makes (made) some great amps- I ran a iAmp w/ a bag end rig that was killer. Too bad I only got to use it for 4 or 5 months before the ex wife imposed a year long hiatus. I hated letting that rig go.
I ran out and bought one after I borrowed Edwin's for a gig (Garrett's?). I never felt like it was quite loud enough - mostly in my mind, I'm sure - but I don't think I've had a better sounding head, ever.
Ha yeah, I was saving dough for that one too. Whomever picked it up got a really nice bass.

Found some interesting custom basses in Longmont this past weekend at Jensen Guitar Company on Main Street. Very different body shapes, don't know what they sound like, but very creative design.

I spent a year in AZ before moving here and made a couple good bass friends there. Once or twice a year they had a get together where people could compare gear, test out equipment, mix and mingle and jam. Is that what the Bass Slam is here, and if so, when is it?!

Ha! You've seen my pick toolbox... wood, horn, bone, brass, felt, rubber, standard plastic, Big Stubbies (my favorite)... every kind of pick you could think of. And I feel like such a brain dead monkey when I use one. It's like how I get confused when I pick up a four string because I've been playing 5's and 6's for so long... I pick up a pick and it's a hot mess. lol
