One is a 5 the other is a 4.
The green one and the silver one. Believe me you won't hurt my feelings if you're not into it. I've only had the silver one a week and this is probably the only way I'd let it go. I just really liked that Sterling.

yeah i'm not attracted to ibanez basses any more for some reason. maybe if the purple sparkle one was on the table.

Yeah it's pretty cool. Cheap too. $169.00 Passive and sounds great! She's making the effort and learning slow but sure.

short scales have a different sound, too...just because of that fact. lakland is making a short scale decade now...looks kinda funky, but maybe one day i'll get into something short.
One of the best sounding basses at the GTG was the Fender Bronco bass. I have also always wanted to try out a 32in scale bass as well. Right in the middle of short and regular you know.
This one is the shortest I've ever played and has amazing tone. I've pretty much described it as a baritone guitar with 4 bass strings.

I have a beautiful sunburst Skyline JO5 that I'll probably be selling soon. I've got a Valenti coming this weekend, and if it sounds and plays as expected, I'll sell the JO5.

Was that a Bronco or a Mustang? There have been a few Mustangs on Denver CL recently that are real tempting since playing that bass at the GTG.

If we're talking gigs, my new band's VERY FIRST SHOW is on June 5th, at the Soiled Dove. We're one of four bands playing for a benefit show/auction for the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center! It's a cool gig, but we're so new we've only got 6 songs. One of our guitarists is organizing the show, so we kind of got sucked into playing, but I think it'll be fun and we'll pull it off. It should be interesting, to say the least... the other guitarist has never played a live show EVER! And they'll be recording everything!!! lol

sounds like fun! i think unless someone local wants the sterling, i'm going to convert it to single h with series/parallel/single switching...in fact, it's already in process, lol.
