I just posted a thread about boiling flats with food coloring. It was brought to my attention that the color probably wouldn't stick to the metal. I know they have colored roundwounds. Do they have colored flats? I have a shell pink Fender that I want to make a bit more interesting. Also, if I can find them, what color do you think would work best? I'm thinking either pink (obvious) or black. It has a light blue knob on it, so maybe blue to tie it all together.

Colored flats?

Only ones I know of are Optima flats. Coatings are not exactly in demand for a type of string that's supposed to go dead.
